Nahum Yibekal - Employee of the Month

Nahum has been part of the Fidens family for over two years, currently supporting four participants across his caseload and we couldn't be prouder to shine a light on him this month.

Before joining Fidens, support work wasn't just a career choice for Nahum, it was a calling. He started out as a volunteer, giving his time without pay because he genuinely wanted to make a difference. That passion led him to where he is today, dedicated support worker doing what he was always meant to do.

Like any role, it comes with its challenges. For Nahum, that's been around communication and making sure things get done in a timely manner, nothing he considers insurmountable, but areas he continues to grow in every day.

What keeps him going is the reward that comes with the work. Nahum finds deep meaning in the positive changes he sees in his participants' lives, and the trust that naturally builds between them. For him, that trust comes naturally, and it's what makes every relationship so meaningful.

As for the support he receives from Fidens, Nahum speaks highly of the training, the communication, and the way things are handled promptly. Knowing he has a team behind him that operates with the same care and timeliness he brings to his work makes all the difference.
