WHY REGISTRATION MATTERS NOW

SIL is Changing from 1 July 2026

From 1 July 2026, all Supported Independent Living (SIL) providers across Australia must be registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

Why Registration Matters Now

This means unregistered providers will no longer be legally able to deliver SIL services. If your current provider is not registered, you may need to transition to a new provider to ensure your supports continue safely and compliantly.
